Frank's first acting role was "Bob the Saw" in a production of 3 Penny Opera, at Fort Mason in San Francisco. He then went on to study with Tom Tyrrell at San Francisco State. While there, Frank was fortunate enough to play "Randall McMurphy" in One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest, and "Tiger Brown" in 3 Penny Opera, under Tom's direction. He later went on to act at The Julian, Theatre Artaud, The San Francisco Rep, and other Bay Area venues.

Then Frank headed east – to attend the Yale School of Drama. While studying there, he participated in workshops with national and international theatre professionals – and acted in over 100 plays by Checkhov, Miller, Pound, Steinbeck, Strindberg, Shakespeare, Machiavelli, Kleist, Jonson, Shepard, Rostand, Albee, Beckett, Quincy Long, Craig Volk, Bernardo Solano, etc. – all on the various YSD stages and at the Yale Cabaret.

After graduating, Frank moved to New York City. His first break came when he booked a job on Loving, as mad-dog prison escapee "Gus Liello", playing opposite Mathew Cowles and Geoffrey C. Ewing. Soon after, he played "Casey" on One Life To Live, sharing the sound stage with fellow alumnus, Chris Noth.

Frank has extensive New York credits. Some being: The Last Sortie: Off Broadway/World premiere, directed by George Bartenieff, he originated the role of "Justino," at the West Beth and Theatre For the New City. The Moment of Aha: Off Broadway/World Premiere, under Richard Caliban's direction, Frank originated the role of "Mark" at the Ohio Theater...and did the boog-a-loo with Missy Hargraves and Sean Runette nightly. Suits: Off Broadway/World Premiere, at Theatre 3, he originated the role of "Parnok" in John Michael Garces' absurdist language play. At Mark Russell's PS 122, Frank created multiple roles for Jeff Weiss' Obie award winning Hot Keys, and later, Come Clean. He haunted the boards as "The Ghost" in Hamlet (Quarto 1) at Nada's Hamlet Festival, and brought "Red" to life in Lynn Seiffert's Coyote Ugly at Alices 4th Floor.

Frank has been privileged to study with Lloyd Richards, Earle Gister, Bill Esper, Tom Tyrrell, Bob McAndrew, Deborah Hecht, Wesley Fata, Andre Belgrader, John Hirsch and Dario Fo.

Frank has done commercials with Hungry Man legends David Shane and Allen Coulter, and most recently for MJZ's own Rocky Morton.
